Watching the difference between the play of Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick is eye opening. While both are athletic you can see the feel Wilson has for the game, while Kaepernick looks like a younger Mike Vick. More athlete than qb. Wilson on the other hand could qb my team anyday. If they ever give that kid real receivers look out!

Wilson just threw another pick in the EZ. This time it was to a 49er. EZ picks are second only to Pick6s.

I'm still not that sold on Wilson being a top-tier QB. I wouldn't say he is bad by any means and have always been a fan, but I wouldn't put him tops in the league with some of the other guys such as Rodgers, Ben, etc. Given the choice between Newton or Wilson, who would you take?

Wilson frustrates me because you can definitely see quarterback skills, much more so than Kap, but Wilson hasn't quite turned that corner yet. I do think his best days are still ahead of him. I think his career is very similar to Ben's in the way he came in as a rookie and contributed on a loaded defensive team with a bruising running back and had sustained success in the postseason. The question remains of whether or not he'll morph into an elite passer like Ben has.

Kap...he played his best football two seasons ago. His career trajectory is only going down IMO. He's young though, so maybe he'll put a few more together.

I was saying before the draft that Tyler Lockett was going to be a beast in the NFL and maybe he'll be that AB-jr type that Wilson hasn't had yet. (Minus Percy Harvin, the 5 quarters he was actually healthy)

Pretty close. I put them both high tier second level qb's. Given the choice though I would probably take Wilson on intangibles.

I don't think you could go wrong with either guy, cam is a rushing TD machine though...he has a nose for the end zone.

I'd take Cam over Wilson.

Why? The only reason i would give Wilson an edge is maturity. But Newton is seeming to start to get that.

Spoke too soon???

BORTLES!!

Bills got a really lousy PI against them to extend the Jags winning drive. DB was clearly going for the ball and never held or pulled, just bumped hips onthe way to the ball. But I'm glad . One less win fo ra possible Wild Card contender

The talking heads on NFL radio say Cam is heads and shoulders above Wilson, mainly due to the roles they play. Newton carries his team where Wilson is just asked to do "what he can".

That's a good point. I do think Cam is asked to do more behind center and more falls on Cam's shoulders than what falls in Wilson. Can is the run game in Carolina.

The only thing that helps numb the sting of the KC loss is watching the ratbirds drop to the worst record in the NFL.

This just in Baltimore, your football team can't win against starting QBs

And they should not have beaten the Steelers either. We gave them that game.

Tomlin has to learn to eat sub 500 teams for breakfast. Ravens are 1-6. Embarrassing that we are the 1 and it was in Heinz field. How good would 0-7 look?

Andy Reid has...have you seen the belly on that guy? One more reason why he's better than Tomlin! ;)

It was wonderful watching John Harbaugh get screwed last night. :chuckle: I loved the illegal formation call against them especially. :sofunny: Granted the Ravens "ineligible" player did in fact check in and the ref just missed it, but two things here. Harbaugh bitched profusely to the league about the Patriot's using that tactic and implied throughout the offseason that it was bush league, so for him to come out with it makes him a bit of a hypocrite. But more to the point, when your player reports it's announced clearly on the stadium P.A. system. So when it obviously wasn't announced over the P.A. he should have called a timeout before the play goes off. So he either wasn't paying attention, didn't know the rule about it being announced over the P.A. or was thinking he could get away with one, and pull the wool over the Cardinals eyes. In other words he was trying to do what Bill Bellichick does, which again makes him a phony and a hypocrite, as he did nothing but bitch about getting the wool pulled over his eyes.

Anyway regardless if he had some right on his side or not it's so great to see him get it stuck to him. I love that someone pissed in my cherios look that comes over his face when he's upset! "sofunny:

I thoroughly enjoyed that as well. It drives me up the wall though that the Steelers handed that team their only win...

Look on the bright side everyone, Baltimore can't win unless the opposing kicker hands them a win
