This. Butler has notched it up every week since game #1, great work by the D. Bryant is monster and I'm still eating my shoe on L. Jones.....but happily! What a breath of fresh air after watching another painful 1st half with Vick.

Steelers defense for shutting down one of the most prolific offensive teams this season. Unbelievable. This was the defense many worried about (me included)?

Bell for his hard running and hard work.

Landry Jones and Bryant for late game work.

Coaches. All the way around. Defensive coaching did a wonderful job. Offensively, the exact right players were being called to keep the Steelers in the game. And then, with Landry Jones, to move ahead and win.

Antonio Brown for, while obviously frustrated, keeping his head in the game and coming up with good catches late. That's a true professional out there.

Show me all my posts where I said how bad Jones is. If anything I've been one to say he's not the greatest, but he's shown much improvement this preseason compared to the past. SO if there is a post where I said he was bad, there's probably 10 where I said I like his improvement. And yes...after a guy has the two shit games that Vick played and then throws for 6 yards in a half...it's time to bench him...lol.

I only saw one replay on it, but it looked like a legal block to me. He will be fined for playing too hard though.

I said it in the game day thread. The play was still live and Mitchell hadn't been touched down yet when James hit him. That was a BS penalty.

I will admit that I am in the boat along with Shoes. I had Ab So Lutely no faith that Landry Jones could get it done. NONE I knew that with Jones in there the D was going to have to score for us to win this game...Knew it!!! So with all that said

Hat's off to Landry Jones for coming in and being WAY more effective than I would have ever imagined. I hope he keeps it going if Ben does not play next week.
