What if Mike Vick started playing football like Michael Vick, the former swashbuckling quarterback, the magician who could pull touchdowns out of hats and turn defeats into victories?

Might the Steelers be better with that quarterback?

He played that way for two series Monday night at San Diego, but it took until the fourth quarter for it to happen. Through the first three quarters, Vick played as he did in the loss to Baltimore and as he did after he replaced an injured Ben Roethlisberger at St. Louis. He played as if he were confined in a box, not allowed to come out and really play.............

If they don't we score at most 24 points. Won't be enough to beat the Cards.

24 is a high number for this offense, but I feel like Vick and Brown are going to gel a little bit this game. They may not win, but I think they'll do better together.

That's the only way you should be using Vick regardless of the opponent. We've been misusing him most of the time so far, and he's made up for it with a handful of great plays. Time to take off the blinders. If Ben is looking to be ready next week, we don't have to worry about Vick getting banged up, so we don't need to play super-conservative.

Having Bryant will help. Hopefully Vick takes a few deep shots to Bryant during the course of the game that get completed

And hopefully he's more accurate than he has been previously in his career...
