Robert Golden has been in the NFL for four years. He has played in 47 consecutive games for the Steelers and 52 of 53 overall since joining the team in 2012 as an ace special-teamer.
A former undrafted free agent, Golden never has started an NFL game, but that will change Sunday when he will replace injured strong safety Will Allen against the Arizona Cardinals.
That might make some coaches nervous, but new defensive coordinator Keith Butler sounded anything but that this week when the subject of Golden came up........
