I'd say he's done for the year.

It appears as though Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pounceywill remain out several more weeks and worries seem to be that his 2015 season is also in jeopardy.

Maurkice Pouncey remains far off from a return to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

NFL Media's Rand Getlin reported Thursday that Pouncey is experiencing complications from his ankle injury and is expected to undergo a second surgery, according to sources briefed of the injury.

The setback has prompted fears that Pouncey will miss more of the season than initially anticipated.

Pouncey suffered a broken bone in his ankle in a preseason game on Aug. 23. He underwent surgery to repair the break and was placed on injured reserve with the designated to return tag on Sept. 6.

Under league rules, Pouncey is eligible to return to practice after spending at least six weeks on the team's reserve/injured list. The earliest Pouncey could return to game action is Week 9 against the Raiders.

Pouncey has been missed in the Pittsburgh lineup. His replacement, Cody Wallace, has has graded out as one of the league's worst centers through five weeks, according to ProFootballFocus.com.

yeah - he's done

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette expects Steelers C Mike Pouncey (leg/ankle, I.R./return) to miss the rest of the season.

Pouncey was already recovering from leg surgery, but had to undergo a second operation to clear out an infection.

He was expected to return in early December.

Now, it'll be early January. A boost for the playoffs.

What would you propose if not Wallace?

They have Goose and The Big Legursky. Like them or not, I doubt they make any other moves for center.

And if anyone says Velasco, he's on the Panthers

Someone who doesn't suck. LOL! Legursky is on the roster. Why not give him a chance?

Wallace isn't even "Jarvis Jones solid".

Wonder what Tomlin thinks of Wallace and if he is solid.

I don't have a problem giving Legursky a chance but I think it should be done when Ben comes back if it is done.

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5706/maurkice-pounceyHe's "injury prone". He can't keep himself "healthy". He's fragile.

Get rid of him.

That's what you hear the VICTIM BLAMERS say all the time. Look at how Ryan Shazier is getting slammed by these idiot victim blamers.
