Under new defensive coordinator Keith Butler, the Steelers have improved in a number of areas. Their sack total is up dramatically. They have produced at least one turnover in three of their first four games and they are eighth in the league in scoring defense, allowing 18.8 points per game.

But there is a bad taste in the mouths of Steelers defenders this week after Baltimore rushed for 191 yards in a 23-20 overtime victory a week ago at Heinz Field. And it was not just the number of yards the Steelers allowed; it was the opponent and the manner in which those yards came.............

I'm sure they do, but their depth is paper thin on the line. McClendon, Tuitt, and Heyward are going to need a breather every now and then. With McCullers hurt, Thomas is basically it.

The defense isn't good enough to both sack the QB and stop the run/pass. I foresee more big yards on the ground being racked up against the Steelers' defense.
