Browns quarterback Josh McCown injured his right hand in a 27-20 loss to the Raiders on Sunday when it apparently hit a helmet, though when he did it is not known, ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/13758007/josh-mccown-cleveland-browns-injures-hand) reports.
McCown had X-rays after the game, the results of which were negative, according to two sources close to the team.
McCown's last pass was directed to Travis Benjamin but intercepted by Charles Woodson.
McCown said after the game he "didn't put enough on the ball" on the throw to Benjamin.
McCown acknowledged the X-rays but would not specify what needed to be checked or the result.
"I don't want to speak on it," McCown said. "I'll let coach [Mike Pettine] speak on it, but I feel good."
