PITTSBURGH -- No NFL team goes for 2 more than the Pittsburgh Steelers. And Ben Roethlisberger said there's no stopping in sight.
"Oh we're going to keep doing it," Roethlisberger said. "We don't practice it this much to not do it."
The team has only just gotten its coaches to let them open their Wednesday practices with something other than two-point conversions. They run them in every other practice though, Roethlisberger said.
The Steelers have converted each of their three league-leading two-point conversion attempts this year. It's put Pittsburgh out in front on the NFL rule change moving extra points back to the 15-yard line, which is debuting this season.
Roethlisberger said the play has been a point of emphasis throughout the Steelers' offseason from organized team activities (OTAs) onward. He also elaborated on the process of putting together the team's two-point options through the week, which Mike Tomlin touched on Tuesday.
