I think they have to keep 9 LB's this year. Sylvester is making an impact that simply cannot be dismissed.
Harrison, Woodley, Timmons, Fox, Foote, Farrior look like sure things. Worilds sticks due to his draft status. That leaves it down to Frazier, Gibson and Sylvester.

In this uncapped year where 85% of a cut rookies salary must be paid into a rookie pool, it may well cost less to cut the older fringe player. I would lean towards Gibson and Sylvester landing the last 2 spots.

Sylvester is a MUST KEEP imho. He's earned a roster spot through preseason and I love this kid's toughness and spirit! :drink:

We have a very good problem at linebacker. And to think just last year things looked bleak after our starters.

We have the same good problem at the WR and RB positions also.

Yes, I think he is. I think it is Baily who is in the mix, but probably outside looking in.

Simple solution is cut Foote. What has he done?

I don't think that is going to happen.

3 year contract, very unlikely

Foote has a three year contract. He's not going anywhere.

What a really nice problem to have.

Sylvester is an animal out there. He is flying to the ball and hitting hard. He is definitely making the cut.

Sylverster has thoroughly impressed me this preseason. The man is everywhere! And he was the pick I least liked from this year's class

Farrior, Timmons, Foote, Fox, Sylvester. Wow, teams would kill to have at least two of those!

Simple solution is cut Foote. What has he done?

Not this year but probably next. Or is farrior expendable in 2011? hmm, makes one wonder....

Sylvester sure has proved himself out there, he has been flying to the ball and making the tackles. He has impressed me and the coaches im sure since the first pre season game and anything less than making the team would be crazy.

I LOVE what Sylvester brings out on the field. He has earned a roster spot and he can help our ST coverage in a big way.

Sylvester seems like a keeper to me. He has really impressed with his speed and tackling I hope he lands on the team somewhere.

Sylvester is the defensive answer to Mike Wallace. Somebody taken in a lower round, but so hungry that he will overachieve. IT doesn't matter how you got to camp, it only matters how you finish.

Sylvester has really impressed me in the preseason. He's made a ton of plays and he always seems to be around the ball. No question he makes the team.

An athlete but very raw and needs to be a better tackler.

Hope he isn't on kick coverage. He'll be a liability.
