Was not on the field, although I loved how he played today. Not a lot of yards, but he got what he needed and put the ball in the endzone three times. Great job. But, his best move of the day came during his interview. (http://www.steelers.com/videos/videos/Williams-on-the-his-performance-and-LeVeon-Bell/5ef36e95-1388-4909-b0fe-af10b688fe28) If you don't want to watch the entire thing (it's only a minute and a half, or so), jump to around the 55 second mark and watch how he completely shifts the focus from himself (reporter asked him a question about how he felt on the game today) to him saying how much he's looking forward getting Le'Veon Bell back and spelling him when need be.

Makes me wonder if we would have even had Bell out for two games if we had someone like Williams here last year rather than Blunt—oops, Blount.

Here's another look at in from NFL.com

That play starts around the 1:09'. Unreal 2nd effort by DeAngelo!!!

I mentioned this in another thread. He is all class, family man and has a good sense of humor. And he was a fan favorite in Carolina (something i did not realize). Plus, he is still an effective RB.

Agreed, Williams is a very good man.

I noted that in the game. He really kept those legs moving and drove, drove, drove.

Loved this signing from day one. Wasn't really sure why there was any criticism about it...

Was there any? If there was, he's sure done a good job quieting it down.

I thought there was some about him being too old, too injury prone, nothing left in his tank...blah, blah, blah.

Ahh, yes. Now that you mention it, I seem to remember a little bit here and there about it. Thankfully it was wrong.

He also gave praise to the ENTIRE receiving corps and not just AB. Classy response.
