NFL players must have the ability to adapt their game plan and playing style from week to week. That will certainly be the case this week for the Steelers, who faced a traditional pocket passer in Tom Brady of New England in the opener and must contend with quintessential running quarterback this week when they face San Francisco’s Colin Kaepernick.
“We have to be aware of his speed,” linebacker Lawrence Timmons said. “He’s definitely a [fast] quarterback. We’ll definitely have to keep him contained. We can’t let him break the pocket and get outside.”..........
