Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski peppered the Steelers defense Thursday night in New England’s 28-21 victory in Foxborough, Mass., but the blame for that loss could be laid at the feet of Ben Roethlisberger and his offense.


That offense that has a stated goal of scoring 30 points a game came up woefully short on the scoreboard against a Patriots defense that, at best, is average.


And once again, the failures occurred the closer they got to the goal line...........

Shoving the ball down their throats early: idiotic trick play call that loses 8 yards.

3rd-and-goal at the five: draw play.

Those right there likely took at least 11 points off the board alone. Add another 4 points because DHB can't catch for shit.

Exactly. He blames Ben right at the start of the article but yet never gives an example of how it was Ben's fault.

The failures in the red zone have always been about the play calling.
