The wettest game of the week may be Thursday night's game in Foxborough, Massachusetts, when the Superbowl Champion New England Patriots host the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Is DeAngelo a mudder?

Well, good. Hopefully without deflated footballs, they'll have a normal amount of fumbles and the rain will make the ball will slip out of Super Megadouche's hand about 50% of the time.

lol, Super Bowl champions. I forgot about that.

I'm sure this is all by Belichick's design. Because he's just that smart. :jerkit:

If it's really pouring it would be bad news for kickers, for sure. Good thing we've been practicing those 5 Wide 2 pt conversions!

Hopefully Williams is a Mudder!! Could be a breakout game for Archer...suddenness and glide do well on top of water.

One thing's for sure - I WILL be muting Collinsworth's and Michaels' Brady knobslobbing fest and listening to the audio portion of the game on Steelers radio, whether it's a couple of seconds ahead/behind or not...

Well, seeing how they won't have the advantage of easier to grip deflated footballs, if we go ball control on offense and run it with DeAngelo, I think this plays to our advantage.

I couldn't tell you who the Patriots' RB is this week since Blount is suspended and they cut Gray. If they can't establish the run and have to pass it in this weather, I think we may be able to tee off on Brady and with a wet fully inflated football, cause some bad throws.

That's what I was thinking...run it... keep the ball out of Brady's hands

In the 2011 win, the TOP was nearly 40-20 in favor of the Steelers

I'm just worried downpours will make it impossible to see Brady's pink "don't touch me" jersey leading to all types of penalties.

Hopefully the O-line opens more holes than they did in pre-season.

Bill Belichick spent four months with an Ashanti tribe, learning how to rain dance.

Whereas, Mike Tomlin spent that time buying cool shades.

Huh, shows how much I know. I thought he spent four months with the elders of an Arapaho village and earned a swell ceremonial tunic for allowing them to pierce his flesh with wild turkey quills. :chuckle:

I can think of several weather related games from the Ice Bowl to the time the lights went out in San Francisco to make the Steelers feel PST. Not to mention the Pats bringing out a snowblower to beat Miami.

Here is one that is a genuine act of God.
