One was told he was too short to play in the NFL. One was too light. The other was too unrefined.
But three Steelers who will be making their NFL debuts Thursday night in New England took some drastic measures to make their dream of playing pro football come true.
After NFL scouts and coaches told them they weren’t good enough to make it at their college positions, Tyler Murphy, Alejandro Villanueva and Roosevelt Nix had to change their bodies, mindsets and positions to play in the NFL..............
