DeAngelo Williams didn’t hesitate Sunday when asked why the Steelers still are confident going into their opening game Thursday night at New England without injured Maurkice Pouncey and suspended Le’Veon Bell and Martavis Bryant.


If Williams can make his decisions on the field against the Patriots as quickly and as decisively, the offense should be OK.


“Because we have Ben Roethlisberger, the best quarterback in the world,” Williams said.


What else is Williams going to say, right?........

Maybe not the best but definitely the one I trust the most leading our Steelers. Good on Williams to have so much conviction, I like that.

Without Ben, the team would struggle...may not be the worst team out there, but probably 3-4 games less in the win column...

No BB and the odds of the Steelers winning drop to 30%. They turn into a 6-10 team at best.

If Ben is average,the steelers have almost no chance with this defense.....
