FB Will Johnson.....WHY Not Use Him More ?

Why not use Will more other than simply blocking ?

He's got great hands out of the backfield and gets yards after the catch. He's good ball carrier as well. Very consistent and productive.

He's a very valuable asset that is not being used to his potential IMHO.

I agree he is underused but with the amount of weapons it is hard to get anyone the ball. Don't see why he can't be the 3rd or 4th rb.

I knew he wasn't 5-7 short, but he is still squatty. TEs should not be squatty.

I simply think the Steelers outsmart themselves with making players change positions so often. Just do what makes sense without trying to prove how cute you are.

Archer can't block and won't draw double coverage, so there is net zero gain. The coaches are hoping for intangibles to show up, but hope is not a good way to put together a portfolio or a team.

I'm a fan of Nix. Showed nice awareness and tackling on special teams and was good on third downs. I think with him making the team that he may be active on game days for his special teams play.

I have faith in Ben too but Archer has to make the catch, at least, if Ben goes to him. I still remember that play last year when he got mad at Dri for an incompletion, which was clearly Dri's fault. You rarely see Ben get mad at any player like that.

When he catches the ball he's usually good for 5-10 yards on average...
