Taylor has been pretty good all preseason...he's had a buzz around him just like Russell Wilson did when Wilson was in the preseason in Seattle. The Pittsburgh game isn't what put him over the top...he was going to start even if he did terrible. If anything the Pittsburgh game locked up a roster spot for Manuel...

I don't think it was our defense that put him over the top because that could have been said about any of the quarterbacks that played us. They all lit us up, including Simms!

good point, but he was the best of the rest I guess
