First off, glad to be back. Hate to see summer start to fade in the rearview mirror, but at least that means football season. I have been so busy at work since January that I haven't had the time I normally would have to analyze the Ravens, Steelers, Bengals and Browns, so here's the question. Looking over the 2015 Draft and now with Week 1 of the preseason in the books, who do you feel is the front-runner for the AFCN division title?

I truly have no guess to make. Hopes, yes. But for once I am pretty clueless. I bow to your wisdom to tell me who has the best shot. I will assume, as always, that there are only three horses in this race and one nag left in the barn near the Cuyahoga, but maybe I'm wrong about that, too!

Well, here is the basic lowdown.

In my opinion, Ravens lost the most significant players. I consider almost all of Pgh's losses to be players who it was time to move on from, as almost all retired. Troy, Keisel, Ike, Worilds - all retired, so not much of a loss. As a matter of fact, I consider Troy and Ike to be addition by subtraction. They may not be a solid D right away, but they could get better as the season goes on. With the Ravens losing Ngata, Cody, Smith, Jones and Daniels, it seems like a lot. I can't make heads for tails out of Cinci, but I feel this group has proven that they can win 10 games but won't win in the play offs. Ginger head just implodes. I think the Browns could be improved, as I like their draft for once. But unless Manziel really, really improves, they have no QB so that leaves them out. As I type this, and without applying homerisms, I feel Pgh should win the div., even with a seemingly brutal schedule.

Good to be back!

We're having a decent baseball season and hope to make the playoffs again, but football season is just something else!

The division hinges on our defense. We got some young guys who I believe can step up, and if they do the way the Steelers offense is clicking the defense will belong to the Steelers. However if the steelers defense doesn't improve, it opens the door for B'more or Cinci.

Crow you've been gone so long that Cleveland is well...never mind...you didn't miss anything. Browns are he Browns. Except in your case then they are Ravens. ;)

Maybe...or maybe it was a jibe at Cleveland.

We still are looking for a secondary to stop Flacco's lob balls.

But as long as Ben, Bell and AB are healthy it's gonna be close

The ravens are by far the biggest threat to the steelers.....When the Steelers are a good team, they always beat the Bengals

Here's a re-cap of what you may have missed:

--The Browns were supposed to be good, but they sucked.

--Andy Dalton is vying for the title of "worst post-season QB in history."

--Ray Rice rode in an elevator.

--Trent Richardson was supposed to be good, but he sucked.

--The Steelers have lost their penchant for draft OLBs, but are insane at drafting WRs.

--Ray Lewis did not murder anyone during the last fourteen SuperBowls.

--Johnny Manziel was supposed to be good, but he sucked.
