Players being arrested. Not the lowest, not the highest. MN is thug central. Houston is a bunch of choir boys. Just 1 arrest?

Steelers would be in good shape if not for Bell and Blount last season...a nice 2-for-1 there...

I don't really care who gets arrested or what players do off the field, short of rape or murder. Give me a team of all ex-felons and parolees, and I'd take it if they were the best.

Smoke all the weed you want, and go shoot your gun off in the air in a nightclub altercation every weekend, I don't care. As far as I'm concerned, if a player is such a horrible person that I need to know about it, that's what the police are for; if he's such an asshole that he shouldn't be on the team, that's why the coach can get rid of him.

Players getting arrested is good for making jokes, and for heckling other teams' fans, but I don't know where we got this idea that teams have to play the part of the morality police and bar people from employment because of random stupid acts off the field. Nobody was ever under the impression that these guys are all saints or even completely sane. That's just life, and it's not always pretty.
