Jay Feely, Alex Henery, and Garrett Hartley.....

No Henery please....He was awful with the lions last year...

I think Jeff Reed is available...

I don't really like any of these guys. Henery was pretty decent with the Eagles before least year with Detroit. He's also the youngest and probably has the best leg.

You gotta think that this could be the end of the road for Suisham so I'd rather get a young guy. Maybe snag a guy when someone else cuts them.

I was going to call you crazy, but I had no idea he was getting into his mid-30s already. Actually the same age as Jeff Reed if I'm not mistaken. You may be right, which would be an unfortunate loss for us.

Sushi was a journeyman before he came to the Steelers. All those Brokeback and Foreskins fans (friends of mine) were laughing at me when we picked him up. Little did they know how reliable he became.

There were PLENTY of Steelers fans bitching about it at the time too.

I think I bitched about it...I can't remember, but I can see myself bitching about him...lol. If I was, he turned me...

Most of what I remember was not bitching about Suisham, as much as outright paranoia that no one other than Reed would ever be able to kick at Heinz Field. So we should pay him whatever he wanted and put up with whatever oddball behavior he pulled (as I recall, one time he got himself suspended, forcing us to make a roster move midseason).

As it turned out, we just had a couple of shitty kickers before him and there was nothing to worry about.

I probably bitched but at least when he made a field goal, I could type Sushishamwow. Can't do that for any other player.

Now, Garrick Utley or whatever his name is better be able to put the football in the back of the end zone on kickoffs as well as be as consistent as Sushishamwow.

Jeff Reed was horrible in 2010, but before Reed was a very good kicker, especially in the clutch.....Reed only costed one game to the steelers in his career before 2010 and it was against the Bears in 2009.

I have to admit I was not happy when the Steelers signed Suisham in 2011....Suisham had a very bad season in 2011, but since then I have nothing against him!

He is 87/95 since 2012!...This is great!
