Third-year running back Le’Veon Bell was named first-team All-Pro, made his first Pro Bowl and earned Steelers MVP in a vote by his teammates in 2014. His 2,215 yards from scrimmage set a team record as did his 114 first downs.

Those are quite the accolades for a player who just turned 23 in February. Bell, however, walked away from his 2014 performance somewhat dissatisfied.

“I think I can have a better year,” said Bell, who had 1,361 rushing yards. “I feel a lot more confident in myself. I feel like a better football player. I feel like even last year I left some plays out on the field, and I could have had an even better season. When I watch my film from last year, especially at the beginning of the year, I kind of look at myself like ’What was I doing right there?’ ”..........

If that guy gets any better, he'll be the runner-up to Peyton Manning for like the next 6 MVP awards.

Maybe out of 6 he gets one of those MVPs.

If Bell continues to improve as receiver, he is a future Marshall Faulk!

Even if he keeps playing the same as he is now, he's as good as Marshall Faulk.

Seriously, their stats are almost identical.

Just keep it up and DON'T GET HURT*.

*This was done with the full knowledge that it could bring on a jinx, but acknowledging that here negates the jinx.

** But saying that means the jinx is back on.

*** Then saying THAT takes the jinx off again, but then I just put it on by talking about it.

**** I think I ought to just stop now and hope that whoever is in charge of handing out injury jinxes is sufficiently confused.

In '14 Le'Veon Bell's 854 receiving yds, 826 yds after the catch & 29 forced missed tackles on catches were PFF era (2007) highs for a RB.

A jinx could be brought on

He would be so scary if he got any better. 2 less games this year for stats purposes but he can still lead the NFL in all purpose yards.

Really hope he can stay healthy, if he can, he will elite for at least the remainder of the decade. The prospects of him and Brown playing together for at least the rest of the decade excites me

Did anyone see Bell's 1-on-1 drills against Timmons? He made Timmons look silly time after time. Like really silly...like high school silly...lol.

No linebacker can contain Bell 1 on 1.

Bell will be a matchup problem for opposing defense for several years.

He is a special player!

I'm kinda concerned about Timmons. Bell smoked him pretty good...it wasn't remotely close.
