It's not unusual for Todd Haley to make his way from the practice fields at St. Vincent to his dorm room in Rooney Hall and hear a fan or two offer free advice.
Haley smiles and responds with a simple, “Yes, sir” or “Yes, ma'am.”
“One day, some guy said, ‘Hey Haley, you need to get this offense going,' ” he said.
That offense is coming off a season in which it broke nearly every record in the franchise's 80-plus year history. No Steelers team scored more points (436). No quarterback threw for more yards than Ben Roethlisberger's 4,952. No wide receiver caught more passes than Antonio Brown's 129; and no player amassed more total yards than Le'Veon Bell's 2,215................
