Tom Brady's four-game suspension was upheld by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday. It's safe to say the New England Patriots didn't appreciate the decision.

"We are extremely disappointed in today's ruling by Commissioner Goodell," the Patriots said in a statement. "We cannot comprehend the league's position in this matter. Most would agree that the penalties levied originally were excessive and unprecedented, especially in light of the fact that the league has no hard evidence of wrongdoing. We continue to unequivocally believe in and support Tom Brady.

"We also believe that the laws of science continue to underscore the folly of this entire ordeal. Given all of this, it is incomprehensible as to why the league is attempting to destroy the reputation of one of its greatest players and representatives."

Did the real PR people have the day off? I guess you have limited potential when you have to hire from the Masshat population.

Why? He's been pimped to death as one of the "faces of the league" for well over a decade now by the very same NFL, so for a league that lives on nonstop hype, exactly what kind of sense does that make?

He cheated and he got caught. Occam's razor.

I think that Tommy Boy is doing a fine job himself of destroying his reputation.

Destroy what reputation - total douche? That's what it was before. Cheater is kind of a sidestep. Like after hearing that Ron Mexico abused dogs, finding out he also had herpes.

Ruin the reputation? For the better part of the decade, the Patriots have been pimped out as one of the "class" organizations in the NFL. Goodell even covered up for them for Spygate.

The Patriots are like a spoiled brat special child who played above the rules for so long, and when they're finally facing punishment, they throw a tantrum. Why not? They've been told they don't do anything wrong.

Roger Goodell should've nipped this in the bud back in 2007, and the Pats wouldn't be so arrogant and defiant today. Destroy the Pats reputation? The Pats did a good job of that already.

This wouldn't have been so bad if Tom had been a man and just owned up to it. Bro, you got the balls deflated to your advantage. It's alright. Take a fine and move on with it. Aaron Rodgers admitted it, why can't you?

Like I have said many times about Brady & The Cheats I mean Pats WIN IF CAN LOSE IF MUST BUT ALWAYS CHEAT.

My other question is how long have they been doing this?

That's easy - as long as they've allowed teams to bring their own footballs for the game. Brady and Peyton Manning lobbied the league to allow that in 2006, so the Patriots have been cheating since 2006.

I mean, they've been cheating much longer than that, but 2006 is when they started cheating in this particular way. Belichick joined the Patriots in 2000, so they've probably been cheating since 2000.

What really cracks me up about the cheats and, Kraft is they were all about Goodell till this. Now they are all pissed off well too bady take your meds and, deal with it. When other teams got hammered or in trouble all Kraft said what a great job Roger is doing. You can't have it both ways! Spygate still irks me to this day!
