View Full Version : Bell Reportedly Negotiating Reduced Suspension

Dan Graziano of ESPN reported Bell was in talks with the league to get his suspension reduced to either one or two games. Albert Breer of NFL.com confirmed that report, and noted the argument is that the running back was being punished twice for the same incident.

Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette noted on July 25 that Bell said his suspension appeal has still not been heard, and he wasn't sure why that was the case:

Right. Bell got 2 for DUI, 1 for weed. Argument is he's punished twice for same thing. Cld be cut from 3 games to 2.

I don't believe he'll get more than one of the games reduced if at all, but at this point anything along those lines would be great news for our team.
