Maurkice Pouncey and Ramon Foster are riding bikes together around Saint Vincent College, despite searing 90-degree sun and heat. “Rise and shine, everyone!” Pouncey shouted toward the assembled media covering the Steelers’ annual reporting day for their 50th training camp here.
Update: 1:25 p.m.: DeAngelo Williams is going to be a fan favorite, for sure. Unloading a mini-refrigerator from his car, he jokingly asked if the Steelers had any interns to help him. He then asked what Mike Tomlin was doing, wondering if the Steelers’ coach would be available to assist.
Tomlin did not come out, and Williams eventually unloaded his supplies from his F-150 truck, complete with mirrored Memphis University license plate.
He’s clearly bonded with teammates already, as he and Arthur Moats shared a few laughs over the thought of Tomlin helping carry their luggage.
Speaking of Moats, he was engaging and pleasant, jokingly fixing his hair (he has a fade cut) before speaking to the media. He was the first player to do so..........
