While the Steelers made their share of mistakes against the Broncos, there were also some bright spots in the 34-17 loss, including linebacker Lawrence Timmonshttp://www.steelers.com/assets/nflimg/icon-article-link.gif (http://www.steelers.com/team/roster/lawrence-timmons/afc86dd7-633e-4e37-a4da-5f089a96b666/) who finished the night with five tackles.

“He was all over the field, at least initially with the reps that we gave him,” said Tomlin. “He is a guy that’s had a great camp and preseason and played really, really well last night, particularly in the blitz game. They had people accounting for him and he was winning one on ones versus running backs, causing disruption. He is a very talented guy. We need a big season from him.”..........................................

Timmons is a beast. I'm glad to see more and more people jumping on the Timmons wagon.

Tomlin has put a lot of pressure on Timmons all camp and preseason. I think Timmons will step up to the plate. He's not a traditional linebacker, but that's not a bad thing. His coverage skills is something we don't have at ILB.

Love Timmons. He left the game early with a leg injury but was able to come back in...

would be awesome if he played at a pro bowl caliber this year. i think everyone knows he has the speed and athleticism of a freak and can rush the passer but he needs to play smart and make 1 on 1 tackles more consistently than he did in his first few seasons. i like what i see so far through, i hope he can keep it up once the RS starts

I've been on the Timmons wagon for awhile now so I'm hoping that he comes through for me this year.
