I would be interested to know if the NFL YPC average was much different in the 70's vs. when Bettis played.
I am also curious who played behind a better line?
Harris > Bettis
Bell could possibly be a top 10 RB of all time if he plays consistently.

I'd say Franco ran behind a better line. It still broke my heart when Harris went to the seahawks, I always felt that he would have broken Jim Brown's record if he'd stayed. Payton would have surpassed Harris anyways, I thought it would have been cool to see a Steeler beat a brownie's record.
