Joe Nedney should have won an Oscar for that flop...

But DA STEALERS STILL PAY DA REFS!!! :jerkit:

No matter. If we would have advanced, the journeyman QB du jour (Turnover Tommy) would have invariably screwed things up anyway - one of the unfortunate earmarks of the Cowher Era...

Bettis was talking about the game against the Patriots in 2001

Duh - never mind. I always associate 2002 with the Nedney Flop.

But yeah, the 2001 AFCCG was another one where the Steelers should have wiped the floor with their opponents and didn't.

But again, no matter. If we would have advanced, the journeyman QB du jour (in this case Korkie) would have invariably screwed things up anyway. After all, he was given the ball twice in the last 4 minutes to at least tie the score and send it to OT and what does he do? Throws two picks to kill both drives.

Besides, losing SBs hurts a LOT more than AFCCGs.
