Looks like Lions receiver Calvin Johnson would have no grudges about passing the torch to Antonio Brown as the NFL's best receiver.
Brown was the decisive victor in a recent poll of fans to determine the league's best wideout on NFL Network with 54 percent of the vote. Dez Bryant came in second with 32 percent while Johnson finished third with 14 percent.
After seeing the results, Johnson tipped his virtual cap to Brown, who led the league in receptions (129) and yardage (1,698) to go with his 13 touchdowns.

Same for me...Shame that Johnson has been in a bad team for the most part of his career like Barry Sanders

He also led in the all important category of consecutive games with 5 receptions... :wink02:

He still has that record going for 5 catches and 50 yards...right?

Can you imagine having AB and Megatron on the same team? That'd be one hell of a receiver tandom.

I think the NFL is going to be reeling once Brown, Bryant, Wheaton and Coates are done this year. Throw in a heavy dose of Bell and Miller.

Can we use 2 footballs on offense?

no...but don't be alarmed if you see New England doing it...it would be a "loop hole"...not cheating. You can ask anyone from Boston and they'll agree...

Props to Megatron.

Unfortunate that he's stuck making Matt Stafford look halfway decent instead of winning.

And it will be hailed as yet another "genius" move by Belicheat... :jerkit:

It's at least partially his own fault since he is pulling down close to franchise QB money. When your (massively overrated and overpaid) QB and #1 WR are eating up almost 1/3 of your cap, it's kinda hard to put together a good team. It's the same reason I never really felt sorry for Larry Fitzgerald.

Or Mike Wallace. What did he want? 60m over 5 years? :toofunny:

The big problem of the lions is the QB

Put a top 10 QB in this team and the lions would maybe won the last two NFC north title in front of the Packers

Stafford isn't really a terrible QB at all.
