At 6 foot 4, Martavis Bryant had the size.


Timed at 4.4 in the 40, he had the speed, too.


Bryant also was productive (eight touchdowns, 21.1 yards per catch) as a rookie.


That said, what's the final piece Bryant is showing this spring — the one missing ingredient that can make him a complete NFL wide receiver?
“Confidence,” Steelers receivers coach Richard Mann said.


“The confidence is there (now),” Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley said.............

“He's always been strong, but to be honest with you his conditioning is way better now,” Heyward-Bey said. “That's what we look at — and me being his big bro, I tell him, ‘You gotta work on your conditioning.' And he came back in way better condition than he was last year.





This alone makes me glad Heyward-Bey is on this team. If he can instill that work ethic in our young receivers along with Brown, we'll be set for a football generation at that position.
