Can we watch the guy play for 2 seasons before we judge him? I bet Ben is very excited about his potential.

Agreed. I can't wait to see him in a Steelers uniform. His build reminds me so much of Boldin. I hope that he can be the same type of player.

I think as long as he is consistent with catching the ball with just his hands then he will be a good addition. I am still baffled as to how/why so many WRs come out of college without learning how to catch with their hands. They are far too comfortable and reliant with using their body to catch passes.

I can't wait for this guy play. I love his size, if he's coached well he's going to b a force.

I don't think is that. I do think that if Sammie works out to be as good as we hope, it will remove a large hammer from over the Steelers head when our WRs are looking for a new contract.

I really like this pick and think Coates has very good upside. In saying that I agree with TEX on WR possibly wanting a new contract.

I agree

We don't need him to be our #1 route running WR - just load him and let him fly! - let him run that Wallace route over the top - give defenses something else to worry about.

With no Bell, we're gonna need to come out throwing early, load up the 5 wide!
