I watch all games via TV/NFL Sunday Ticket : ) It's so much better. The reasons are as follows: A comfortable bed; temperature is always right; quiet; good, affordable food; no waiting in line for the restroom and no need to find parking

My wife is newly converted and needs to have the entire Steelers experience. We are staying overnight so no problems with parking.

I live in San Diego. I'm definitely going to that game.

I attend a Chargers game every year (the wife is a Chargers fan). You can't beat the visceral experience of 30,000 people cheering the same event.

This time though, I'll actually become of those 30,000 actively cheering (for the Steelers, obviously).

I haven't had a chance to get to a game at Heinz Field yet. I've been to several at Three Rivers...I want to eventually take my boys to a game in Pittsburgh in the next couple years.

I would like to make a weekend out of a trip to Pittsburgh. Hit the game...see the sites...the whole works.

Where are you staying? We stayed at the hotel that's in the same parking lot as the stadium (I believe a casino is between the two now?). It was great because a van would take us anywhere within five miles, which meant the strip district, shopping malls, museums, etc.

That's our dilemma.

Right now, there are plenty of tickets available... but, only if you buy season tickets. I could possibly do that (and give/sell the other game tickets to my friends & neighbors). But, that is a LOT of money.

In years past, if I wait a month, Chargers fans will bail on the season, and good seats will start popping up on the ticket exchange. I've gotten seats in loge (and even field level) for face value. That said, it's a risk... because, us Steelers fans will buy up those tickets quickly (last time, we made up about half the crowd).

I am also going to the Sept 27th game against the Rams. I know waiting is sometimes risky, but we got some pretty good deals from SeatGeek.com a day or two before games in the past.

How did you do that? I was looking up tickets for Thursday night against the ravens and it said that tickets weren't available yet. Even if they were, I doubt they would be at face value...
