Those of us older (over 50) Penguin fans will remember this ! :yup:

Those that were fortunate enough to attend Penguin in the 1970s will remember when the St.Louis Blues and Barclay Plager came to town!

Barclay Plager was a Defenseman for the Blues and had a reputation for being a nasty, mean prick that thrived on taking cheap shots (hits) on opposing players. He also had a reputation for accumulation a massive amount of penalty time in the box.

We Penguin fans would taunt him and get inside his head with an haunting chant. The crowd would start out at low volume and increase volume by yelling his first name.... R-E-A-L S-L-O-W

B-A-R-C-L-A-Y.....B-A-R-C-L-A-Y....B-A-R-C-L-A-Y.....B-A-R-C-L-A-Y

Now, just imagine a crowd of 14,000 Penguin fans doing this ALL in unison together !! It was a freaking AWESOME experience to share with fellow fans!!

How many of you remember that ??

Anyways, I think us Steeler fans (that are fortunate to attend games at Heinz field) need give Tom Brady this SAME treatment !

Just imagine 55,000 Steeler fans yelling (R-E-A-L S-L-O-W).......

B-R-A-D-Y......B-R-A-D-Y......B-R-A-D-Y....B-R-A-D-Y. :tt02:

I won't be chanting Brady's name under any circumstances. Also, we're playing the Patriots in Foxborough, not Pittsburgh, this year.
