Anybody can guess how a team's draft will turn out, but it's a crap shoot. What looks good doesn't always taste so good. You can't tell for at least 3 years how a draft turns out.

He probably knows more than you or me but not as much as our team. Good?

After stepping back and taking a better look at things it appears the Steelers did very well filling needs AND getting good value.

Walter Football & Bleacher Report also gave the Steelers an A- in the draft.

Mel Kiper says Senquez Golson might be the best pick of the second round

By Daniel Sager May 1, 2015

Mel Kiper Jr., typically not the type to outwardly convey optimism or excitement, declared Steelers second round pick Senquez Golson “one of the best picks of the second round”.

It was an interesting proclamation, especially when three cornerbacks had already come off the board prior to Golson, but still encouraging. The Steelers defensive backs coach Carnell Lake is already raving about Golson, stating he “checks all the boxes” when it comes to playing the position, and states if the diminutive Golson was slightly larger he would’ve been a surefire first round pick.

Golson stands just five-foot-nine, but his ball skills are regarded as first-round quality, according to both Kiper and colleague Todd McShay. He had 10 interceptions last season at Ole Miss, helping the Rebels to their highest AP ranking in 50 seasons in 2014.

Here is the thing with all these draft grades - they are totally flawed. If you look at most sites, they grade out more prospects at each round grade then can be selected. Then they knock teams for taking a guy in the 4th round who had a 2nd round grade on their board. Due to the way they set up their boards, there are going to be "reaches". Unless the site or the evaluator is only going to grade 32 guys per round -- then it can get out of whack way too easy.

That being said, I read these things obsessively and can't wait for more to be posted.

Yeah pretty much wait and see. On paper they addressed their needs.
