With the second day of the draft in the books we take another look at the up coming contracts the Steelers are about to give out. This time we look at today’s newest additions, Senquez Golson and Sammie Coates and what they can expect in terms of contract numbers. As with the contract of Bud Dupree (http://steelerswire.usatoday.com/2015/05/01/bud-dupree-rookie-contract-salary-cap-steelers/) that we looked at previously the framework is already very much set in stone thanks to the CBA.

Just like with Dupree both men are set to become wealthy young men. However the first dinner should be on Bud given the substantially smaller bonuses each player will earn. There is a significant drop from first round money to second round money, much more than the drop in money from second round to third, with Dupree set to cost more than twice what Golson will cost against the cap in 2015.

Again using the numbers from OverTheCap.com, who have proven to do an exceptional job at creating these numbers over the past few years, a contract for Golson should be something in the region of $3,791,150 including a signing bonus of $1,017,200. The contract for Coates should be around $2,829,112 including a signing bonus of $549,112. Both would be four year deals.

The year by year cap hits should look something like this:
