PHOENIX — Former Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor has accepted the idea he likely has played his final NFL game. But that doesn’t mean he will be removed from the league.
Taylor said he is not fielding or seeking offers from another team after his contract with the Steelers expired after the 2014 season — his 12th in the NFL.
That is a departure from what he said in January when Taylor indicated he was training to play at least another season and would consider doing so with another team.
Instead, Taylor said he is not training in Orlando, Fla., and might pursue possibilities in television with the NFL Network and NFL Films.
“I’ve been talking with them,” he said.

I think this is the perfect job for Ike at this point in his life. He has a great personality for it. I wish him all the best in this endeavor if this is the path he ultimately decides to take.
