The Steelers could be in for a stormy few days, depending on how the statuses of Troy Polamalu, James Harrison, Brett Keisel and Ike Taylor are handled, so it got me thinking about the best of the best in the Mike Tomlin era.

Hence, this terribly non-scientific top-five list, just for fun.

4 of the 5 are Cowher guys.

And if our OC would run a 3 wide set every game all game, we'd be 16-0 and have a 7th Lombardi.

DK is way off base. :chuckle:

Don't ever call James Harrison a "Cowher guy" to his face. Harrison thinks Cowher held him back, that he should have been a starter long before he finally became one under Tomlin in 2007. And he's right.

Yeah, but that was just a sarcastic post for the Cowher guy vs Tomlin guy arguments. :stirthepot::chuckle:

Damn straight he's right. He would have rotted on the bench behind Porter for however long Cowher was around. I also think he would have crippled Ben's development too, so I wouldn't call Ben a "Cowher guy" to his face either.
