Here is another topic for us to discuss. How many yards does Mendy rush for this season?

IMO With Ben being out the first 4-6 games (still can't believe it hasnt been reduced yet) Mendy will be the work horse of the offense.

I would love at least 1,300 yards and 8 tds from him.

I voted less than 1000 yards because I think either the injury or fumble bug will hit him and someone else will be sharing the load with him (Redman, Moore or whoever).

Don't blast me..I love Mendy but I don't think he is gonna be all that durable in his playing career, kinda like Troy. IMO

Mendy had 1,166 yds last yr didnt even start the 1st 2 games. With the Steelers running the ball a little more at beginning of year he will top 1,200 if he stays healthy.

That's what I feel too, Sal, but I voted 1,000 -1,200. He'll have some drop off because of the reasons you stated. I could be way wrong and I hope I am. Would love to see Mendy surpass last year's stats!

This is my exact analysis. And also remember fellas, he came out of college early. Mendenhall is still a young gun, just 23 years old! He should just be getting better. I think with the Art Rooney's demand for a stronger run game, Kugler's hard knock never-die attitude, the absence of Ben the first 4-6 games, and just the additional starting experience for Mendenhall will finally skyrocket him into a true bellcow runner in the NFL.

1000-1200 yards it he spins if he puts his shoulder down and looks for those extra few yards 1400-1500 easy.

Rashards 2009 season ranked #14 all time yards in a season in just 12 games started.
If he plays all 16 its possible he can hit 1500.

Ehh i think he will be pretty consistant compared to last season and keep his pace anywhere from 1000-1200 again.

Well he certainly will be relied on more when Ben is serving his suspension. Hopefully he can have another productive season and let's hope Bruce will call smart plays... like in the redzone. I would like to see Mendy with ten rushing touchdowns, that would be awesome. Let's just fix the fumbling problem.

I say 1200 to 1400 you never know he could have more then that. It also depends on how much Redman and Moore get to play as well.

i doubt the steelers will be committed to the run. mendenhall will get about 1146 yards rushing, IMO.

Sadly, I have to agree here. I think Mendy is a HUGE talent but he seems a bit fragile and that concerns me. I believe we are going to see a heapin' helpin' of both MeMo and Redman this season not only to compliment the rushing attack, but a "just in caser".

I voted under a K as well.
