PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — A family in Eastern Pennsylvania is suggesting the Pittsburgh Steelers may be at least partly to blame for their loved one’s death.

Eleanor Gallagher passed away peacefully on Wednesday at the age of 81.

Her obituary was published today in a Wilkes-Barre newspaper.

It includes the following paragraph:

“Eleanor was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and the family firmly believes that the recent separation of Dick LeBeau and the Steelers’ poor performance this season might have inadvertently contributed to her demise.”

An 11-5 record, a division championship, the most exciting and far and away the best offense this team has fielded since the late '70s = "poor play."

No, this fanbase isn't spoiled, not at all... :coffee:

You have got to be kidding me...

Mom always said that if you don't have anything good to say, then don't say anything. Good advice for me right now.

If it were tongue in cheek, ya, we all say the Steelers are giving us heart attacks.

If they are serious, get a life.

I guess she was moping around, but she still got the last word. Good thing Kordell Stewart and Tommy Maddox were like 20 years ago.
