As part of a settlement between the NCAA and Penn State University, late head coach Joe Paterno will have his victories from 1998 through 2011 restored after they were vacated due to the Jerry Sandusky child sex scandal.

According to NCAA.org, Penn State will commit $60 million to programs designed to prevent sexual abuse against children and treat victims. It will also enter into a new Athletics Integrity Agreement, among other things.

I am wondering about all of the underground stuff that went on that hasn't been mentioned in the paper. There had to be some kind of network support or conspiracy to conduct such awful and criminal behavior for so long and going undetected by law enforcement.

They're also bringing back the statue. But they'll turn it around so he'll forever be looking the other way.

Are they going to restore Pete Carroll's wins that were vacated from him all because Reggie Bush accepted a deal that got him paid? What about all the other coaches who got their wins vacated for players accepting benefits that the NCAA didn't like? Only seems fair right?
