Sounds like this deal is imminent. Just have to iron out some small details and Ryan will be the new head coach of the Buffalo Bills. Should be interesting if Marrone winds up as the next Jets head coach...

The problems in Buffalo is that women must wear extra thick socks to protect their bare feet from the cold during football season.

Do you suppose as part of the deal Kim Pegula had to show her feet to Rex Ryan?

Guess all the fans will cry that we didnt get to him fast enough to offer him our DC job. Also I dont see the obsession with him.

I don't think he is the right coach for Buffalo. The Bills needed an offensive mind to improve the offense, not a defensive-centric coach who puts little value on the QB position.

Oh this should be fun.

Oh this should be fun.

 I like Rex...on a comedic level. It would be a hoot to have a few beers with him

I just had a funny thought.

Imagine Rex Ryan and Mike Tomlin sitting at a bar having a few beers. One of our creative minds here needs to put that conversation together. :chuckle:

Would've loved to have him as a DC...but he's "above" that now and if he wasn't taking a HC job, he would've taken an ESPN gig.

Well, I guess you could say that since Rex has already coached and had some success in the AFCE, he had one foot in the door in terms of familiarity.

;)

The defense was already very strong and now with Rex, the defense could be better!!!But the problem is that the offense going to continue to be bad with Rex and Greg Roman as OC

The 49ers offense was atrocious in 2014

I don't think so either. The Bills already have a great defense but their offense stinks and they don't have a franchise QB.

And not to mention Ryan is a 3-4 guy and Schwartz instaled pretty good 4-3 defense. This is a head scrather for me. I dont understand it at all. But its Buffalo, so who cares anyway.

Rex will have some early success with Buffalo. The Bills actually have a Defense.

After that, it's gonna be downhill from there, as they have no quarterback and no offense at all.

Ryan would have made an interesting interview , but think his comedic manner with Tomlins catch phrasing would just be way to over the top in extra curricular non football gibberish crap
