PITTSBURGH -- Baltimore Ravens (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/bal/baltimore-ravens) coach John Harbaugh declared Joe Flacco (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/11252/joe-flacco) "the best quarterback in football" for the second time in less than a week.

Harbaugh made the latest grand declaration after Flacco guided the Ravens to a 30-17 wild-card victory (http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/recap?gameId=400749511) over the Pittsburgh Steelers (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/pit/pittsburgh-steelers) on Saturday night. In the Ravens' first-ever playoff victory over their rival, Flacco completed 18 of 29 passes for 259 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions, finishing with a 114.0 passer rating.

"Joe Flacco, what can you say," Harbaugh said. "He's the best quarterback in football. We'll take him any day of the week, twice on Sunday or Saturday if that be the case."

Well that will make solid fodder for the golden boy. I imagine Brady will take exception to that .

I was never as down on Flacco as some, but best in football? Dear Mr. Harbaugh, a mind is a terrible thing to waist.

Fucking joke. He's a piece of crap carried by a great defense and solid organization. There's at least 15 qb's that would go into that situation and lap Fluke-O's accomplishments. Tell you what, put him against the Ravens defense last night and he doesn't score a point.

Hey Harbitch, if he's so great why did you need help on the final Sunday of the season to get into the playoffs? If the Chargers take care of business against the Chiefs you and your great qb are golfing today because he couldn't beat the Texans 3rd string qb the week before. Your fate was out of your hands. You backed in asshat!

I have no problem with comments from Harbaugh since it is very important to have confidence in you and his team

Flacco had said in 2012 than he was the best QB in the NFL and he won the SB few months later, so the confidence can be a very good thing

Of course, Flacco is not the best QB in the NFL, but confidence can lead to very far and the ravens are a very confident team and it's one of the reasons why they have had great success in the playoffs under John Harbaugh

Elevator music. He capitalized on a shaky secondary, I'll give him that. Best? No.

This. What's he going to say, "my QB sucks?"

Much a do about nothing. Of course he's going to say his QB is the best in the league. A good coach is going to stand by his players. Especially after a win like last night.

If given a dose of sodium pentothal. Yes, that's exactly what he would say. :heh:
