Simple. He's not one of the "anointed" ones in the NFL. He'd have to COMPLETELY blow away the rest of the field statistically to even have half a chance and he probably still wouldn't even get it then. And part of that is certainly his own doing.

You know who's NOT ringing the MVP Bell for Big Ben ?....Big Ben! Ben doesn't give a Rats Ass about Individual Awards....never has. I think most people here thought Ben should have easily won the Super Bowl MVP in that Arizona game...I know I did. But Ben said he was Happy for Holmes, and that ALL he cared about was the WIN!


Which is why I LOVE Ben!!

He doesn't have big time corporate sponsorships like all those other guys (including Watt). All those companies want to have the MVP as their spokesperson, and the NFL will deliver one of their "anointed ones" as they always do.
