So the Steelers finally found an AFC North Division opponent they could beat twice, found it, naturally, at the top of the division.

The Cincinnati Bengals, a half-step from the division title they had the inside track on all season, brought to this Week 17 showdown what they typically bring to their urgent prime-time performances and especially to their Steelers appointments, namely blatant incompetence.

A.J. Green, who’d blasted the Steelers secondary for 224 yards on 11 catches just three weeks ago in Ohio, was slightly less glamorous for the NBC audience, if no less dramatic.

He was involved in all three of Cincinnati’s turnovers on the night the Steelers secured their 21st division title, their sixth since 2002........

Quick question, are McCain and Blake the answers at CB? Probably not but they sure have played their respective asses off this year.

Just imagine our position if Allen could have gotten his head together. He showed he had the tools to succeed in his position, but something just turned off. Confidence slipping away and he was climbing a greased pole.

I think McCain is a FA. They aren't the answers but they would be nice to keep for depth. Will Allen should be signed for another year as a backup.

Agree. They are not the answer as every game starters, but are good ST guys and Dime coverage players. Gay has been the come back player of the season...at least for us. We would be lost without his play. But a truly decent free agent needs to be had, and a top-60 draft prospect as well...to groom for a season.

One thing is for sure, if Ike was in there we wouldn't have had two picks.
