Often enough when an NFL team makes the playoffs for the first time in three years, the significance momentarily evades the complicated psyche of the locker room, resulting in a shower of, "It Hasn't Sunk In Yets."

Not so with these Steelers.

Sunday's embossed invitation to the AFC's January festival, hand-delivered by the touchdown-challenged Kansas City Chiefs, got absorbed by coach Mike Tomlin's team like a shot of tequila on an empty stomach.

It burned right to the core.

Even right to their heads.

If the Broncos lose twice and we beat Cincinnati by 40 points or something crazy like that...

Is it mathematically possible for us to grab the 2-seed?

Not that I'm expecting the Broncos to lose twice.

Unless there is a tie game, the Steelers can not finish in the four seed

It will be 3 or 5

So a home game or play the Colts?

The steelers can play on the road against the bengals too(if the bengals lose tonight and win next week in Pittsburgh)
