With a secondary that's vulnerable to the deep ball and linebacker James Harrison (four sacks) questionable with a knee injury, the Steelers will need a push up front to disarm Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan at Georgia Dome.

It will be a good time for rookie defensive end Stephon Tuitt to show what he has learned from fourth-year end Cam Heyward.

3-4 ends are not supposed to be pass rushers , they are supposed to be space eaters so the Linebackers can get the sacks .... perhaps THIS is part of the problem with the linebackers the guys in front are trying to make plays instead of taking on double teams

agreed seems like they are trying to hard just let the Lbers get the sack all the DL has to do is be good run stoppers and to push the pocket, but still think we need a NT that can eat a few centers and guards before we see the defense get back to top 5 defense

What a BS article.

How many sacks from Thomas?

How many snaps for Tuitt? For Thomas?
