Safety Mike Mitchell made a fist. On a good day, that's the Steelers' secondary.
“Like a fist, there are five different fingers,” he said, tightly curling his hand into a ball. “But they all have to come together for the weapon to work right.
“We are starting to get to that point.”
The secondary may be the last piece of the puzzle that needs to fit for the Steelers (8-5) to make a successful run to playoffs.
The next test is a tough one — Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones on Sunday in Georgia Dome — but Mitchell is confident.
