A car crashed and overturned on the Church Street bridge over I-277 about 12:30 p.m. and ambulances are on the scene. A second car involved in the crash is also in the road, near Hill Street.

An Observer photographer at the scene said Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was injured in the wreck.

Rescuers have closed outbound Church Street at Stonewall.

Good thing they protected him from injury by trying to force him to be strictly a pocket passer.

All joking aside, though, I hope it's not serious and he can come back OK next season. Car crashes are some scary shit.

If it was Brady, it'd be "OK, so he's not dead - LOL, eat shit, Patriots," but I never had anything against Newton, so basically it just sucks.

It's terrible since he was coming off a good game. Hate to see that kind of misfortune happen to somebody.

yea horrible record but so does the rest of the division , I mean Tampa sits at 2-11 and and is mathematically out of it only because of div record not win totals

The transverse processes have no function, except when they break , it's very painful. Romo played a week after breaking one of his by using pain meds.
