No Steelers position in this young century has experienced more of a talent drain than wide receiver, and none has rebounded as quickly and with such ferocity.

The Steelers, who once expressed a philosophy under Tom Donahoe that receivers were a dime a dozen, have continued to put that into action under his successor, Kevin Colbert.

When it comes to finding diamonds in the rough, the Steelers have done as good a job as anyone in the NFL. They don’t just find them, they eventually let most of them go without so much as a contract offer and have someone ready to replace them, someone often better........

Love that last statement. We really have been very fortunate in having some of the receivers we had, but although we may get upset when one of our faves leaves, we know another great one is just around the corner.
