The Wild (http://www.si.com/nhl/team/minnesota-wild) are the latest NHL team with suspected cases of the mumps. Defensemen Jonas Brodin (http://www.si.com/nhl/player/jonas-brodin) and Marco Scandella (http://www.si.com/nhl/player/marco-scandella) are out with illnesses, the symptoms of which are similar to the ones experienced by teammates Keith Ballard (http://www.si.com/nhl/player/keith-ballard) and Christian Folin (http://www.si.com/nhl/player/christian-folin) earlier this season. Ballard and Folin were believed to be infected with the mumps.

“We don’t know for sure, but similar symptoms,” Wild head coach Mike Yeo said, according to the team's website (http://wild.nhl.com/club/blogpost.htm?id=33739). “This came from somewhere else, but there’s obviously a possibility that it’s inside our locker room now ... The problem is you start to wonder and start to worry is this sitting inside anybody else waiting to come out, too."
